Choosing The Right Keywords With Article Marketing

Making money with article marketing is very easy. All you have to do is come up with an original article and to post it in an article directory or any other place where people will see it and click on the link if they like what they see. If you have a good article, people will click to the link and it will lead them to your landing page.

You will therefore be able to make more sales. Articles written are posted on article directories such as Ezine.com which have a large audience. However, many articles are rejected each day for failure to meet the set rules. Choosing a potential keyword winner is not easy, but it is doable with the right tools and if you know how to get it.

Articles that are not unique will not be accepted by article directories. If you pick a popular keyword for your topic, it means it will be search engine optimized. Find a balance between these two to guarantee that you have the numbers and clients who want to buy. When writing your work using a reference, you must give credit to the original writer within your content. If you want to write original work and you have researched elsewhere, use plagiarism detection software – some of these are free of charge.

To generate good keywords, put yourself in the shoes of the target audience. Most publishers prefer articles that are between 500 and 750 words. You must also follow the instructions given on the title.

You can use tools such as Google Trends from Google Labs to come up with the best keyword for your topics. Knowing the industry will make you realize that focusing on the data that keyword tools generate is not enough because the market is dynamic. You will also understand the industry lingo and use it to attract clients who will see you as an expert in the field.

Other requirements are that you must have a resource box which should include your name, your website, and a call to action and that you should not have affiliate URLs in the body of your article. You can also get ideas from friends, colleagues, or family members. You should also consider what successful competitors are doing.

You’re right, with the right keywords an article can really bring you long-term traffic. You will get traffic from the article directory themselves, but also from anyone who uses it in their ezine or on their site (a good reason to have quality content).

The key to article writing in the long run is to identify the type of information someone in your niche is likely to be looking for. What are the common issues and concerns? If you can figure that out, you now have something to write about that people will actually read. If you do a good job with that, they may well follow you to your landing page where you can hopefully sell them something that moves them closer to the solution they are seeking.
